1. Declaration on data protection
It is the declared aim of Novalytica (part of DataCareer GmbH, hereinafter only Novalytica) to offer you services which you can use anonymously as far as possible. We only require your personal data where this is indispensable for the use of our services and leave you the choice of how the personal data you have entered will be used and who can view it. For all personal data entrusted to us, we guarantee a trustworthy treatment and assure you that we collect this data with the greatest care, treat it strictly confidentially and handle it for the intended purpose. In doing so, we comply with the relevant legal requirements and the following principles. By entering your personal data via the Novalytica services, you expressly consent to your personal data being processed in accordance with these principles.
2. Collection and storage of data
2.1 Data Input
All data entrusted to us will be stored in a Novalytica database, kept strictly confidential and will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.
2.2 Storage of access data
a) Cookies
Novalytica uses so-called cookies to simplify the use of its services and to obtain information to improve its offers. Cookies are small text files that the web browser stores in a dedicated directory in the user’s system. We use cookies to collect data about the use of our services (e.g. job advertisements clicked during a session). In this way, we can generate qualitatively better and more relevant search results for registered users, as long as they allow cookies. Users can at any time configure their browser to prevent cookies from being accepted or to receive a warning each time a cookie is accepted, thus enabling them to decide whether or not to accept the cookie in question. Novalytica’s services can be used without accepting cookies. However, the use of individual functionalities may be restricted if cookies are deactivated.
b) Log file
When accessing our services, general access data is also stored in a log file for statistical purposes. This applies in particular:
- IP address
- Date and time of access
- Name of the called file
- Access status (OK, partial content, document not found, etc.)
- Page from which the access was made
- Web browser used
- Operating system used
Novalytica processes this data in anonymous form, for example to determine on which days there are particularly many visits. There is no personal evaluation of the log files.
c) Tracking and analysis tools
Novalytica uses various technical tracking and analysis systems to measure and evaluate usage and for re-marketing purposes. Such measurements can be anonymous or personal. It is possible that Novalytica or third party providers of such technical systems may pass on the collected data to third parties for processing. Further information on the collection and processing of the data can be found in the data protection regulations of the respective provider. The collection and processing of this data can be objected to by requesting an opt-out from the respective provider.

3. Data security
Novalytica uses technical and organizational security measures in order to protect the administered data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or against access by unauthorized persons in accordance with the current state of technology. The security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments. However, Novalytica accepts no liability for the loss of data or its knowledge and use by unauthorised persons.
4. Third-party offers
Novalytica also presents third-party offers via its services or sets links to third-party offers or websites. Novalytica assumes no responsibility for the collection and treatment of personal data by these third parties. The corresponding data protection regulations of the third party provider apply.
5. Right to information
Every user of a Novalytica service has the right to request information about whether and which personal data about him is stored at Novalytica. Requests should be sent by e-mail to contact@novalytica.com . Any other questions regarding this Privacy Policy should also be directed to contact@novalytica.com . We endeavour to answer enquiries as quickly as possible.
6. Changes to the Privacy Policy
Novalytica reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be published through Novalytica’s services and will take effect 30 days after they are posted.
